Otherwise, I think he'd have killed me by now.. :)
I move furniture around. Alot. Until I get it just exactly the way that I want it. Or until he tells me he's not helping anymore. :)
I can't help it, I like to change things up a little, and hey, its cheaper than buying new stuff!
This time, I moved C back into J's room, so that we can have an actual school room. Which is the way we had it originally when we first got here in May. I think C had a room of her own for all of 1 1/2 months.
I was going crazy trying to figure out a way to keep the school stuff in the living room, but it just looked WAY too cluttered, and I don't have a good place to keep all of my craft stuff, either. So the school stuff is now back in the other room, and I have to get crackin' on moving the craft table into that room as well. Plus my 6 drawer bin of craft stuff. I will take pictures later today, that way I can link to the Not Back to School Blog hop! :)
I am insanely happy that I found 6 foot folding tables on Walmart.com for $39 each, and that they ship to APO addresses for free! Squee! Thanks, Erica, for the tip! I will probably order one for me (half for sewing, half for scrapbooking/canvas making), and one for the kids for their schoolwork. Right now, Jacob's desk is in the corner, then his school cart, then a little table for Caitlynns workspace, and her cart will go on the end when it gets here. It will look so much more efficient and tidy when I get that table in there.
Then, my next streamlining the furniture move will be to get a Korean desk. They are about $100, but definitely worth it. Unless the resale shop proves to still have the desk I saw on their FB page.. which was only $15, and will fit a printer and a laminator on the top row, and both laptops on the bottom.. That would be insanely awesome! I will feel completely organized! Right now, my printer is sitting on top of the 3 drawer bin that holds my scrapbooking supplies.. Which is supposed to be going into the school room. So, here's hoping that tomorrow, Casey's Closet still has that desk. I plan to be there when they open the doors.. :D
All for now. Thanks for reading, if you made it this far. Off to put the baby down for nap, and get to moving some stuff.
